  1. I am researching the Weeks family, namely- Cecil John Weeks (1890-), Rushbrook (or similar name) cottage.
Could this be the same family?

    1. Hi, I have Cecil John Weeks in my husband’s tree.

Do you know who his mother was – I have him living with his grandparents Harry and Susannah Weeks in 90/01/11.
Harry and Susannah are my husbands direct maternal 2x gr grandparents
      with thanks

  2. Dear Martin,
Did you find any interesting information about the Weeks family?
My mother, who is coming up to 80 and lives in Teignmouth, is related through her father’s mother.
Though Mum grew up in Surrey along with most of her cousins etc, she married and settled in Teignmouth, where her own 6 children were brought up.
I do remember Uncle George (Weeks) and Aunty Mabel, Mum’s second cousin and his wife, who lived and worked at Teignmouth Grammar School.
Anyway, Mum is feeling sentimental and curious nowadays. She’s asked me to take her out to Hatherleigh to look for her great grand mother’s grave, or something like that. We’ll be going this Friday, in fact.
Though I did contact the Hatherleigh History group via the website, I haven’t heard anything from them. If you yourself have any snippets of information, which you could share with my mum, I’d be very grateful.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Yours sincerely
    Karen Stokes

    2. Hi Karen,
I am also researching the Weeks family from Hatherleigh. Do you know who George Week’s parents are to see if they are the same line please?
Our line is via Harry Weeks and Susannah Pillifant Worden.
