Due to the 2020 Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic the History Society has been unable to hold meetings since March and will now not meet again until next year, pending further Government safety advice. The Society AGM has also been postponed.
In the mean-time our Secretary Monica has worked very hard throughout the year keeping us informed and entertained on our facebook page, posting many interesting photo’s and documents from the archives. Viewers have provided lots of comments with names, places and dates which have been added to the collection.
We are currently working on updating and improving the website and adding many of our facebook posts to it.
