Frank served in WW1 and after the war having travelled backwards and forwards to Australia, South Africa, Singapore and Japan as a Tea Planter he moved to Australia. Unfortunately Frank was captured by the Japanese during WW2 and imprisoned in Changi where he died of beri-beri on 17.6.1945, he is named on the Hatherleigh War Memorial.
