One of the interesting posts on our facebook page in September showed Nic Brown’s beautifully restored mangle manufactured by A. Friend and Son of Hatherleigh.
I wonder if anyone knows of other Hatherleigh made and named artefacts, perhaps other household ‘appliances’, farm equipment, flour sacks, beer bottles, cider flagons or the like? We’d be very interested to hear about them or see a picture!
